So a very quick turnaround with this bank holiday doubleheader as our team travel to North London in good heart following successive wins. Our hosts are just back from a long trip themselves after a hard fought draw at Wrexham. If you could choose a match for Asa to be suspended then yesterday was as good a time as any as he will be fresh for the battle ahead.
Johnson does have a hard decision to make assuming Asa will be back and suspect it will be either Kalala or Edwards, neither of whom deserve to be dropped but give an attacking second half option against tiring legs. Barnet did go to a 5-3-2 formation on Saturday which may be part of Johnson’s thoughts from a tactical viewpoint as well so as always wait for the line up with interest.

I reckon your about right there Rob. Kalala for some reason played in the midweek game and I though the looked tired and a bit jaded in the heat yesterday so may start on the bench. Opi on the other hand did pick up a knock that may rule him out if it tightens up. My God is he quick, love to know his 100m sprint time and still learning the game. Destined for better things and a higher standard for sure. Duku looked lively when he came on also so may also be in contention but who he would replace. Niate also had a few battle scars from a very tough battle. Hope he can recover - the back line looking more settled and compsed now Liam Davis is back. What a great professional he is still running around like a spring chicken at 32 and improves with age like a good wine. To come straight back in with no pre season and perform like that is very impressive. Its a squad game these days and our first line back up is thankfully looking pretty strong these days which is absolutely crucial if we expect to compete.

Lineup - Hall in for Edwards who had a knock and does not make the bench otherwise it is the same team. COYY

Let’s see what the match reports say. .. After being 2 nil up, 1 point seems scant consolation.

Always galling when your ahead but no side at this level is going to give you an easy ride and I'm very pleased with the point. Two wins and draw from our last three is steady progress and a great response from the Maidenhead disappointment when many on social media were throwing their rattles out of the pram. Gary wont be happy with the draw of course but will be pretty pleased how we started the game and how we played our attacking game in draining heat and two games in quick succession. Well done lads..

If we had been two nil down at half-time then we all would be ecstatic with a point but it does feel like two points dropped. I was only able to hear bits and pieces of the commentary this afternoon but sounded like Cameron made a mistake for the first goal and then they got a bit of a deflection for the second. It happens in football but at least we are scoring and getting in winning positions.
