I doubt the old big wheel of the strand days would get past 'elf n safety nowadays! 

Sometimes they'd have the old fair on the grass in front of the Spanish barn...forgot it's bloody name! 

Went on a pub crawl many years ago...met me mates in the pub of course! 

Started in the Dumpling, down to the Butterfly and then hit the Strand pubs. 
 
Foolishly, we then decided to go on the Wall of Death ride which was situated on the grass in front of the Spanish barn! 

Up it all came...happy days! 😁
