After our first run out at a tricky to get to on a Tuesday evening after work game, this away game couldn’t be easier to get to! (Truro away game excepted)
I suspect there will be a good turn out of Gulls eager to see the championship winning side again, with two of our former loanees now back this season together with the three new signings and a couple of trailists to assess. Some of the youth team are good value to watch as well.
It’s a lot easier this year trying to work out who is who for a change and should be a good afternoon to watch some decent football with a few goals on the cards as a well gelled team go through the gears.

0-0 Halftime- woodwork hit by us twice and goal chalked offside but could do better. Cameron on for Dickson who went down injured.

3 - 0 Full time.
Hard going in the first half where we could not finish off our chances. Johnson tried a few new things which did not particularly work well with Hall at centre half, Vincent partnering Little in central midfield and Reid and Koszela up front.
Second half and Kalala once again stood out as a quality player who can just ease past defenders at will. Wynter and Cameron looked good. Buse looked capable as a full back.
Things start to ramp up now

MacDonald Bude, Niate Hall. Dickson Keating Vincent Little Andrews Reid. Kozsela Cameron replaced injured Dickson. At half time Wynter and Kalala on for Kozsela and Keating. Wynter right back, Buse moved to left back, Cameron to cente back, Hall to centre midfield with Little pushed up into the hole behind Reid in a 4-2-3-1 with Kalala right and Andrews left. Trialist then came on on the left with Andrews replacing the substituted Vincent in the centre. Finally, four college lads replaced Hall, Andrews, Little and Reid and we reverted to 4-4-2 MacDonald Baxter Niate Cameron Slough Wynter Buse Evans Price Kalala Trialist |

Vaguely remember him taking a strong tackle against Bideford but didn’t have to go off or anything, Quick worryingly, Dickson picked up a knee injury so who knows how long he will be out for? link |
