Will be paying particular attention to the play offs, still think Woking will get that other spot. Yes, will be looking to see which team makes it to come up with us. I think a few weeks ago I would’ve agreed that Woking are favourites but their appalling run of form which has seen us go 10 points clear with three games to go suggests to me that they will struggle. I quite liked Wealdstone as a team and was impressed by them recently but will they even make the top seven? Welling did turn us over and will be difficult to beat in a one off match and my money is on them if they end up third. Geographically speaking, Bath would make a good away day next year so for that reason hope they somehow make it! |

Welling or Chelmsford in my opinion. Think they looked a bit better than the other choices. Rob, we could well have Yeovil as a local derby next season  |

Just a point separates Bath, Billericay, Concord and St Albans in fifth through to eight place in that order and now likely that 3 of this four with join Welling,Woking and Chelmsford in the play offs. Dartford lost 6:0 against Eastbourne and Wealdstone lost 3-1 at home against Dulwich which effectively ends their play off hopes.

link - concord ground is not eligible for promotion so play offs will just be contested by 5 teams with 4th placed team now going straight through to the semi stage!

As mentioned elsewhere, Concord missing out means that there is a bye to the semis for the 4th placed side. This means that Welling are at home to Chelmsford in one semi final. And Woking are at home to the winner of Bath v Wealdstone in the other semi-final. Bath v Wealdstone playing this Wednesday on 1st May. Think this will be a good game that is finely balanced. Wealdstone will be on a high after sneaking through others into the play offs and with their away form are my tip to get through. They won a lot of friends with their recent trip to Plainmoor.

Maybe a qualifying condition to playing in any league is that your ground meets the standard of the league above you. Which if applied would mean that the standard of every league ground in the country from the EFL championship down to step 7 of the national league system would have to meet the criteria of the Premier League. |

FFS, Pete, don't be a dick about this. It's pretty obvious what I meant but just to be clear, here is my updated suggestion: 'Maybe a qualifying condition to playing in any league is that your ground meets the standard of the league directly above you.' Right then, so then the qualifying condition (QC) for playing in the EFL Championship would be to meet the Premier League standard. Therefore the QC for the EFL League One would be to meet the EFL Championship standard, which just happens to be equivalent to the Premier League standard. And so on and so on. |

On the subject of ground grading am I correct in thinking that some years ago Chester, whilst still in the Football League, were given permission to play at Macclesfield's ground but only a couple of seasons later Macclesfield were denied promotion to the Football League because their ground didn't make the grade?

The old method of deciding promotion matters on the pitch, and promoting successful teams rather than big grandstands, still hasn't been bettered.

Bath 1 - 2 Wealdstone going into the last 5 minutes or so. Bath lost a man due to a red card but Wealdstone have lost their keeper
