link - A great episode in our clubs history. I was only 14 at the time and had only seen my local club play a couple of times but this event certainly inspired me to take a much greater interest in my local football club. I was only a tepid fan before with not much to grab my attention growing up in the 1980s but this actually sparked a run of real success.

Those people looking down at us...are they supposed to represent Torquay players of the time!  One looks like Kevin Keegan...I don't remember him ever playing for us! |

Watched this last night. Had totally forgotten that Burnley were in the bottom 3 with us and Lincoln (who were relegated).
