It may be a long way to Essex from South Devon for a midweek game but there will be another game just as interesting no more than a couple of hours down the motorway. An even easier watch for any Cornish or West Devon based Torquay fans on a spring evening i would suggest. And a reminder that admission for Tuesdays Truro v Woking game has been reduced to just FIVE pounds and FREE if under 18. Should be an interesting evening...and well worth a nose imo !

Was running the line for Woking FC Ladies today, as I occasionally do. Alan Dowson was there supporting them.

I see Billericay played tonight against another in form side Wealdstone with a 1-1 draw keeping them 5 points behind having played 2 games more. Still between us and Wokng for the title.

Woking go in to half-time a goal up so as things stand they are now top again.

Do Woking feel sorry for us or something? Every time we f**k up, (which is becoming quite regular at the moment) they seem to let us off the hook!

Yes, there is that. It got up to nearly 20 a while back, but no longer! Still, as has been said many times before...no one in their right mind would support (or bet on) TUFC...wait a minute!

With nine games to play ourselves and Woking are now nine points clear of Welling in third place who have played a game more with four other teams within two points behind them. I would now say that we are almost certainly going to be in the top two and need to match Woking in the run in to finish top.
Woking play this coming Tuesday away to Oxford City and are likely to overtake us then. However they then start their run of difficult games and if we can then keep the pressure on with consistent performances at the right level we can beat any team in this league.

link - tickets for our away game go on sale today. Likely to be a sell out so don’t wait too long. Was hoping to go to this one but now have commitments elsewhere 😟

I wonder if the Woking game at Oxford tonight will be on? They have heavy rain until 3 o’clock and then light rain until 5 o’clock although it is dry for them tonight. Pitch will be very heavy and difficult to play on if it does go ahead.

Tickets now SOLD OUT for the away fixture. Just shows you what a difference success n the pitch makes to local interest in the football club even at this lowly level. Our home crowds have virtually doubled in the last few months. Two tough games that week now with the Chelmsford fixture on the Tuesday before - weather permitting.
