Yes, I believe we were in some sort of agreement over immigrants whilst in the EU, and under that agreement we were able to send about three people back. I don’t know the exact number so it could have been less. Brexit was never going to be about countries, it was always going to be about individuals. In France you have ‘The Little Corporal’ who’s one policy in life is to cause as much disruption and chaos in this country as possible, which of course he doesn’t need to bother with because our politicians are doing a perfectly good job of it! In Germany you have/had ‘Kaiser Merkel’ another politician living out their fantasies. Mass immigration is having/going to have a catastrophic effect on this country because it will never stop, the reason for that being we will never have a PM in this country with the sense to stop it! 🛑 In answer to your final question, Brexit hasn’t impacted on me at all, because as I have previously mentioned I live in a quiet part of the Yorkshire Dales and life just poodles on by. 🦦 Brexit may poodle by but Arwen certainly didn't, she dumped a load of snow, blew more power cables down than you can shake a stick at on Friday night, and we've only just got the power back on!  |

The world is overpopulated there seems little doubt about that. Immigration though into the UK has always gone on (how about those pesky Romans and Normans?). The UK had 36,000 asylum applications in the 12 months to March 2021. Germany had 136,000 and France had 93,000. I am confused did the little Englanders who voted to leave the EU think that absolved us from any responsibility in the world. I don't know but it seems a possibility! 😉

The people who voted to leave the EU were clever enough to realise the inevitable catastrophic outcome of mass immigration. What the people who voted to leave the EU didn’t realise, was the total ineptitude of this country’s politicians. Politicians who are terrified of using the word ‘White’, just in case it offends someone, even though the person is actually ‘White!’ Politicians who are terrified of using the word ‘Black’, just in case it upsets someone, even though the person is actually ‘Black!’ Politicians who are terrified of using the word ‘Gay’, just in case it upsets someone, even though the person is actually ‘Gay!’ Obviously I could go on until the cows come home.
Some of you may have noticed that 90% of the people arriving on our shores are male…The Trojan Horse comes to mind.
Just a few statistics: The EU statistics for people per square kilometre is 34.
The UK statistics for people per square kilometre is 426.
The Australian population is pushing 26.000.000…and of course Australia is 32x bigger than the UK.
The UK population is pushing 70.000.000.
So why is the population in Australia so low…it’s because they don’t allow uncontrolled migration of millions of people. Australian money is for Australians, not for everyone on the planet except it’s own people which seems to be the UK policy.
Though of course this reply to a post has nothing to do with Brexit…nothing to do with immigration…nothing to do with politicians.
What it has got to do with is losing!

Black is a descriptive word and I see no reason why anybody should be afraid of using it as such. Also as most murders and other criminal offences against black people are committed by other black people the police should not be afraid of saying so and describing the suspect as black. The proper use as a descriptive word is not insulting and is not racist. That said in my view racism is still a problem in this country which whilst I would say it is impossible to eliminate completely it must be kept in control. Yes I too am concerned about uncontrolled immigration into the country. That is not racist either. Immigrants have been welcomed to our country for hundreds of years and have and continue to contribute greatly to our society. My concern about uncontrolled immigration did not stop me insisting on a minutes silence at my local pub for the 27 who drowned in the Channel. The bottom line is they are people too. Observed impeccably.

If you have a glass of muddy water and keep stirring it, the water in the glass will always remain muddy. If you stop stirring it, the water will clear and be calm…which is exactly how our minds work.
A Black professor from America was over here recently, banging on that Churchill was a racist…so what, Churchill is dead, it’s history!
Chacitcwa Banjo continues to bang on (and making a fortune off the back of it) about the kneeling incident!
Like the water, if you continue to stir and agitate a situation it will never clear.
Nice to see a minute’s silence organised and observed at a local pub, for the people that died in the channel.
In Buddhist beliefs the people that died are in a sense still migrating, only this time they are Transmigratory Beings, going from one life to the next.

You would think that a big company like Nike would cut the Black community a bit of slack on their choice of footwear, particularly as keeping racism Center Stage, takes the spotlight off them (Nike) exploiting children in Asia and no doubt elsewhere.

If ever there was a picture up for ridicule it has to be the one with Liz Truss (I think that’s her name) on top of the British Army’s only working tank, threatening the Russians about invading the Ukraine! The picture raised much mirth in Russia, with the word ‘Bi-Polar’ (is that word or words) being thrown at her. She might as well go and live in one of the poles for the amount of good she does!
I predict that I’m going to touch on a Nostradamus quatrain later…let’s see if I’m right.

I remember reading some of the Nostradamus stuff many years ago, and one of his predictions was: ‘while the world sleeps, the Great Bear will shake loose it’s chains!’ In my yoof-full ignorance, I thought that meant Russia (Great Bear) would be dastardly and attack at night! 😒 Of course what it really means is twofold: the first being not while the world sleeps, but while the world looks elsewhere…terrified of using the wrong word, having to be PC, the list is endless. Secondly, it’s not the world sleeping it’s the leader of the so called free world sleeping…Sleepy Joe! That also is twofold: firstly, the obvious one…😴 secondly, his only interest it seems is trying to save an already doomed planet! Trump would have moved the 101 and 82nd airborne divisions to the Ukraine and that would have been the end of it. Still, as the old saying goes…be careful what you wish for! As it is the start of a new week, I thought I would look at what some of the world leaders were doing.
In China, Chairman Merse…oops sorry, I mean Chairman Mao think alike Chairman Xi Jinping, is again shaking his Willy at Taiwan.
In Russia, President Putin is bringing up yet more armaments to the Ukraine/Russia border.
In Britain, Prime Minister Johnson is setting up yet more ‘secretive’ Christmas parties.
In America, President ‘Sleepy Joe’ Biden is appearing on chat shows, and laughing at the fact that his ratings are going downhill faster than a wagon load of fat kids.
The outcome of which I will explain later…I’m selling the Mercedes so it needs a good valeting. 🧼
