The mainstream media milk to the full any opportunity that presents itself, which enables them to avoid having to report on the things that they'd much rather not be mentioning. Government approved news, and the Press are similarly well aware of what they are encouraged to focus upon and what to ignore. To find out what's really going on, you're not going to have it revealed to you by the mainstream media, as I think a recently deleted TFF member indicated.

I'm surprised that you have had nothing to say about the non-stop coverage all day on both BBC and Sky News of this niche event. It's my guess that today's TV viewing figures will have plummeted to an all-time low, say about 5%. I had to go out but fortunately set most of the news channels to record and I am hoping that anything I missed I will be able to find on catch-up tv.

If I were you, I wouldn't bother. 95% of it is all about this bloody baby, what his name will be, etc. ad nauseum. Why do the news channels assume that more than a fraction of the population are, well, remotely interested?!

Nearly forgot, I received my Brexit Party leaflet yesterday! I know where my x is going! Speaking of crosses...Wayne Rooney is suing Sainsbury for using his signature on their Hot Cross Buns!

Knife crime has been covered extensively by the main stream media, for instance the BBC i player has two recent documentaries relating to this issue. What has happened, which happens with every news story whether of vital importance of just trivia, is it gets supplanted by a new story once the public start to become blase about it. As for the recently deleted TFF member , I thought you were too clever to associate yourself with the utter bile he pontificated.

Whatever the source, I’m sure we all try to keep our distance from bile. A poster trying to draw me to speculating on who might have deleted what, or an Admin trying to persuade me to change my user name…..if I’m suspicious of their motives, it’s best to steer clear Whereas if I’m mostly in agreement with a poster (or ex poster) on a particular subject, I’m happy to give them the credit.

Well, my cross has been put on the ballot paper, and it's winging its way to be counted! I voted for Mr Brexit and his party...next stop Europe...then no10?

Sadly, the latest Katy Price facelift has gone horribly wrong...and we say goodbye to her! She was very open (no pun intended) about her infidelities, and once told her first husband that she had only been unfaithful to him twice! Once with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and once with the Brigade of Guards!

Voting for somebody to represent you in a parliament who does not believe that parliament should exist! It is no wonder the Europeans refer to Mad Dogs and Englishmen!

RIP Freddie
As Jim Davidson inherits the title of greatest living English comedian, it's sad to have to say goodbye to Freddie Starr. A football lover, capable of playing a number of different roles within a team, my major concern is whether Freddie was able to send off his Brexit Party/ UKIP postal vote for this EU election, before his sad demise. And would it be counted ?

I remember watching that when it first came out, and I was in hysterics! I must admit, that I didn't find it that funny this time! I'll put that down to me being a Miserable old Git!
