The Devon Live website (formerly Herald Express) has become a nightmare. It's full of pop=up advertisements and other attempts to lure you on to other sites.
I was hoping to find an interview with Gary Owers about his withdrawal from the club, however all I found was four videos, all with different titles but with exactly the same content.
I used to look forward to reading the Herald back in the day, when its reporting of Torquay United matches and behind the scene developments was second to none. Sadly, those days are long gone and what they now report on is just a pile of shit.

Adblock - installed it years ago and wouldn't be without it the commercial sites hate it of course and some will ask you that you cant continue with it running but its easy to pause or stop on certain pages. Browsing the web would be unbearable without it.

It won't improve the reporting content but it will block all those extremely irritating and pervasive ads. Never heard of this before, but what a difference, thanks a lot.

Dave Caldwell? On the basis that he posts on the forum? Why is it the local media and supporters of TUFC can only ever think about appointing people who have some link? Well I don´t think anybody would consider appointing a trainer on the basis of the fact that he was on the forum. I contacted Dave before the appointment of the last trainer and was very impressed by the ideas he had for TUFC and not only that but also by the passion he has for our club.

I note that Gary Owers "stepped down" and I understand that to mean that he resigned and wasn´t sacked. Any info. on that?

I note that Gary Owers "stepped down" and I understand that to mean that he resigned and wasn´t sacked. Any info. on that? maybe, just maybe, he got fed up with the personal abuse and physical assault that he went to CO and asked to leave but more likely there was a 10 game assessment in his contract and he didn't reach the required level and they agreed a separation
