As Rob says, it's a deal that would appear to make sense (certainly for the player) if Owers again looked unlikely to be playing JPP. It cements the strong bond and friendship between the two clubs, and allows the hopefully sizeable Torquay contingent at Plainmoor on Saturday to be able to sing 'John-Paul Pittman, he's one of our own'. And if the clubs merge at the end of the season, JPP will already be familiar with most members of the combined squad from whichever camp they came from . I might have been inclined to lend them Keating, certain over a fit and motivated Pittman, but Owers is in a better position to judge the situation. Good luck to JPP. We may even have done him a favour by inserting a clause demanding that he can enjoy Christmas and New Year without having to interrupt his festivities in order to play football.

Good move for all parties. He'll probably score a hat trick tomorrow! Who's going?

Good move for all parties. He'll probably score a hat trick tomorrow! Who's going? Certainly was a hat-trick, 4 goals actually from 'Robinson J' whom I'm assuming is Jake Robinson. I know nothing about our present league. Are Billericay one of the big clubs in it? 4-0 is a resounding victory, any way you look at it. Certainly was Jake,on another day he could have had six. Certainly knows where the goal is, not the tallest player, but scored the second with a header. Billericay have bought a squad who will be up there come the end of the season, squad littered with ex league and natonal players such as Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, Ben Gerrings (rumour has it £50K per year). Billericay's management team must have learnt their trade from Martin Allen and Steve Evans. Swearing and in the linesman ear all afternoon. Both should have been sent to the stands. Thought there was some directive for Managers etc. when it came to behaviour.

Wikki has him one senior appearnace in three years but bagged loads for the youth, reseves teams etc. They also boast Jamie O'Hara in their team.
