Was it just this game that was free?

Yep, only free for you to enjoy the goalfest that was the Billericay game. Truro now need to get some money in if they're hoping to make King Kev an offer he can't refuse

Now that would be an interesting appointment. With a slight bit of irony thrown in to boot, what with Truro having Plainmoor as their home ground. What would happen if they were to beat us twice...the Divine One would be made to look a complete arse after all his slagging off of king Kev! On saying that...

Was it just this game that was free? Truro City announced that entry would be free for all games for Torquay United season-ticket holders: www.trurocityfc.net/news/preview-your-guide-to-our-first-game-at-plainmoor-2330577.htmlTorquay United season-ticket holders will be able to gain free admission to the game and indeed all of our home games this season, whilst the offer will be reciprocated to Truro City season-ticket holders should they wish to attend Torquay United home League games over the course of the season.I am now reliably informed that they have now reneged on that promise, but will offer £5 entry to Torquay United season-ticket holders.

That might be Truro's intention, but if a promise has been made to TUFC's season ticket holding supporters, then our fans representatives are going to vigorously represent us and kick up one hell of a stink over this, and demand Truro stick to their word. Or, even if they eventually fail, let's at least see some evidence of what's on the tin, and some fit for purpose 'representation' taking place.
It will be interesting to see how visible the TUST representatives are tomorrow night. A no show, leaving Torquay fans to fight their own battles over promised free entry would be totally unacceptable. Hopefully TUST will have the matter satisfactorily resolved long before kick off time tomorrow. You don't keep a dog and bark yourself, nor should TUST members shell out for representation only to find those representatives aren't there to fight their corner when it's proposed that agreements are overturned that will now go against the financial interests of their members.
Another test whereby we'll learn whether Fans 'Representatives' is a convenient, but in reality a misleading title. Let's see TUST step up to the plate on this one.
