A couple of young trialists in the squad both midfielders I see.
A little disappointed with the choice of some of our opposition mainly because we just haven't been able tested out our forward threat enough.
If we are going to be any sort of force we have to be scoring regularly and have seen little evidence other than the Poole Town game that we can create and put away our chances.
Maybe today we can get on the score sheet from open play though I doubt Owers is playing his starting eleven.
Would have thought he needs another game to test out his first choice eleven.

linkA solid 0-2 away win for the gulls but with a few injuries to worry about. Squad was mixed up quite a bit. So it begins next week

Positions are guessed.
Bass, Gowling, Cameron and Nabi all missing. Sokolik taken off at half-time injured (replaced by Essuman - not mentioned on club website).
I expected us to start with the eleven we expect to play at Chelmsford but was wrong! Two trialists started in midfield (both youngsters). 4-4-2 lineup.
Strange pre-season. We seemed to be more settled in the Argyle and Cardiff games when you expected experimenting and experimenting in the last two games when you would hope to be settling into a team and a formation.
I am sure Owers knows what he is doing.
