We need to get real - the plans submitted are amateurish, there is no detail relating to how the project is to be financed, there is no business plan, there are no partners identified, no realistic time scales - it is all a sham by a bunch of no-gooders looking to make a fast buck on the back of gullible people. Wake up and smell the coffee!

With regard to our new 30,000 capacity music venue, where are the cars etc going to park? Milton Keynes. Although Reading would be nearer and has parking available. Swindon car park unfortunately has been reduced for housing.

"Torbay Mayor Gordon Oliver has also kindly donated a massive trophy" What the f**k is a massive trophy? The World Cup is a massive trophy - but it is quite small in size. I assume then that this trophy is bigger than an average bungalow but insignificant in status?

Apparently, the proposed cup is so massive that emptying it causes unexpected drainage issues. It is currently being safely stored in South Wales. Every effort will be made to redesign the cup but there will be a long delay. Fortunately, work on the enabling saucer has not been affected.
