Surely a must win for us - although the defeat at Maidstone and the draw at Solihull were too.
It is probably now more about keeping the season alive for as long as possible rather than actually staying up.
Torrential rainfall today and more forecast must put Monday's home game with Woking at risk. The following Saturday's trip to Dover is a tough one.
If the Woking game is postponed, we could face five of our last six games at home - three on Tuesday nights - knowing we were already relegated. What kind of attendances could we expect in that scenario?
You would hope that Owers would realise that a battling point is not enough.
I would like to see Healey, Romain and Williams all start. You would hope we have worked on a system to accommodate all three. I would go for a fluid attack with all three taking turns to drop into the hole or to pull wide - we can't afford to have three stuck up front waiting for the ball.
I would hope that Efete can return at right back to free Barnes to play in midfield.
Whilst a very small minority might berate Luke Young for being part of a lightweight midfield, most would have the common sense to see that it is not Young's fault if the manager decides to stick him in with two inexperienced lightweight loanees. Young will do his best in such a lineup, but only a fool would expect him to be what he isn't.
Hargreaves and Nicholson got the best out of him by sticking a Richards/Verma/Racchi/Lathrope type alongside him or behind him. Owers has stressed the need to bring in an aggressive midfielder but failed to do so. He seemed to stumble across Barnes in that role by accident - and then moved him out again!
If Sotolik was fit, I would go for a 4-2-1-3 with Barnes and Sotolik holding behind Young. If Sotolik is out and Gowling fit, I would probably stick to a 5-2-3. If both Sotolik and Gowling are out, I would go 4-3-3 with one out of Dowling, Lemonheigh-Evans and O'Sullivan joining Barnes and Young in midfield.
