No-one can prove it has come from the foreign aid given to Rwanda. Surely you don't think that Rwanda's only income is foreign aid from UK? It's just typical scummy Daily Express sensationalising to try to generate more traffic to its rubbish website, and to try to sell more papers. £64 mill is just pocket money in comparison to the total amount of foreign aid given globally. You can't even buy a decent footie player for that sort of money these days. It might be pocket money, I'd rather it be given to our NHS. Surely it can't be right that a country dealing with high levels of poverty have the coin to sponsor a sporting club to the tune of £30,000,000 Cancel the DD now... |

Before this thread sinks to the bottom of the pile and disappears forever, just one more mention of our giving money to all and sundry. It seems we have started to give aid to Argentina! To which they have thanked us profusely and have put the money to good use...they are buying top of the range Fighter Planes from China!
Word on the street is: They have their eyes set on some tiny island to the south of them which they fancy getting their grubby mits on!
You couldn't make it up!
