DOUBLE DAMON'S DOUGH ! link - HELP CLARKE HELP DAMONBefore the old timers start reminiscing about how much they used to fancy Monica Rose, it's more important to commend the 'Double Your Money' initiative instigated by the club to substantially increase the cash that Damon Lathrope will receive. As we now know that a full recovery to the extent that Damon could return to playing will not be possible, it is gratifying to learn of the announcement that the sum collected for Damon on Easter Monday will be doubled by the club. I'm certain that compassionate Clarke Osborne's decision on this matter will be welcomed by all supporters. We may have our problems on the pitch at the moment, but as the words of kindly Clarke and generous Geoff remind us, we can still be proud of the actions of the club in many other ways. Three cheers for TUFC for this magnificent gesture to benefit Damon and his family. |
