Owers juggles the pack to create some room to maneuver for further squad strengthening, signs Reed on a permanent contract and sends Gray out on loan to York City. My guess is he wants a more physical presence up front, a deficiency so obvious against Dover.Lets face it we have all been thinking it all season.
Halifax who suffered relegation from this division but bounced straight back last season will know they will be in for a battle. Effort alone counts for little if you don't hit the net, the crux of many of our problems and the manager and coach will surely be looking to correct that problem. Wins needed urgently.

Makes sense for Reid to be turned permanent. Of the 6 loanees remaining, all 6 may well be fit (Lee, Dowling. Evans, Efete, Murphy and McQuoid. I'd leave McQuoid out (I think Owers will leave out the returning Lee and not go for my formation) as I thought he looked dreadful at Aldershot. My preferred X1 from the 17 available is:-
..............Dorel............. ............................. ...Efete...Gowling..McGinty.. ............................... ..............Evans............. Lee...........................Davis .......Young....Dowling...... ............................. ..............Reid.............. ............................. ............Murphy.............
Subs: Lathrope, Higgins, Clarke, Myrie-Williams, Keating

That would be a decent bench Rob, certainly head and shoulders above where we were a short time ago....

Had intended to go to this one, but with the shite weather coming up, a static caravan, four Border Collies and a spade, I've decided to give it a miss. Bumped into a mate of mine yesterday, David Javu (again), and he reckons Halifax will win, with them scoring in the last ten minutes!

Assume a 3-4-1-2 with Reid (or possibly McQuoid?) just behind the front two. Dowling instead of Higgins on the bench - Lee left out of 16.

Yep, very pleased with the formation change. Sounds like a promising first half with it. Playing into the wind second half. Let's hope we can keep up the good performance over the full 90 plus minutes. Sounds like we've had the usual rub of the green with a couple of refereeing decisions already. 1 nil either way looms. Fingers crossed.

Not so predictable the equaliser. Good performance. An away point. Playing to Davis's strengths with what is being praised as a good new system by the commos. We'll turn this tanker 'round to get that 5th from bottom spot yet. Are we off the bottom?

Surprised we got the equaliser - so much of the play and little end product is a major concern. As Danny Rachi says by far the better side today and Liam Davis outstanding but sadly lacking a goal predator. Could quite easily have come away with nothing once again. Take a point though three pointers needed though good performances and draws will not save us.

Off the bottom by GD. Now only 5 points from safety. Seems we are playing well, hopefully that will start to translate into goals....

Just been reading through the kiddies site and one tard believes we should have been awarded a penalty because their keeper handled the ball outside the box! I've stopped laughing now as it was beginning to actually hurt! They wonder why they get called the kiddies site!

Think we are probably a couple of good signings away from staying up. ..
