Despite the poor result and lackluster performance last weekend generally speaking there are signs of improvement. Owers was not a happy man after the Dover defeat and will be looking for more consistency from the players. A tough game against an Aldershot side who's form has wavered a bit of late after an impressive start to the campaign.
A cup run would be handy but once again our priorities must lie in moving up the league table. Anything can happen and probably will!

Efete and Dowling unavailable, but the other 5 loanees are. So says the HE. I expect all 5 of Murphy, McQuoid, Lee, Reid and Evans to start. Lee as wing-back instead of Higgins.

I think we might Nick this one, and then you know who will Nick all the proceeds for winning this game! One nil to the good guys, someone called Nick to score for us!

Apparently Efete is now in the squad. Not sure the HE actually know.

Not sure about right back. Higgins, Lee and Efete all look good pushing forward but vulnerable defensively. Lee probably isn't fully match fit yet, so would guess Higgins to start with Lee on the bench rather than vice versa. Efete could start, but you'd have to leave Lee out of the 16. Clarke and Pittman not fit. Osborn recalled and I guess Gray will replace Pittman on the bench. Does anyone know if Gray did join Barnstaple on loan as the official site suggested? If so, I guess we can recall him as we have recalled Osborn.

Higgins starts with Efete on the bench and Lee left out.

Second best once again. Different players, same results.
No match winners in the squad. Are there any answers? Doomed...

Another disappointing result. ...at this rate the season will be over before January. New signings needed!

We were pretty awful all day. McQuoid was particularly hopeless. Our front three got into offside positions to receive the ball so many times it became a bit of a farce. Aldershot didn't look much better, but posed more of a threat to our goal in the second half, when I think Young's free kick was our only shot at goal. Dreary and ineffectual. We don't win on Saturdays.

What was the timing of Rendells goal - 83? Think it was a bit earlier. Not much.

Starting to feel a little tetchy now — not a great deal of progress after the demise of KN - we really need to see evidence that we are going to move forward as a club pretty blooming soon since the only place we are heading in at the moment seems to be oblivion!

They reckon Hyde United could earn £100,000 tonight for their televised FA Cup game, bugger.
