The long suffering supporters must be wondering when this awful record breaking run of results will finally come to an end.
Surely it must end soon or are we to just going continue to suffer one disappointment after the other until our fate is sealed.
With David Thomas predicting an unlikely victory tomorrow and suggesting its time to place a bet on us for what would appear to be an unlikely victory on the Daggers home soil.
A blessing perhaps that we are away from Plainmoor where there is added pressure to perform and break the duck.
When it does finally happen it most likely be away at one of the top performing clubs - so why not tomorrow?
It's difficult to be optimistic these days after this latest spell of appalling results though and most will have written off our chances before a ball is kicked.
No new faces this week only the news that the impressive Vincent Dorell has been offered a contract and one or two more are progressing on the injury front.
Owers will no doubt be scrutinising his top heavy squad and will continue to trim where he can over the coming weeks.
Team selection will be interesting and expect McQuoid to start and perhaps Anderson to make way for the returning Liam Davis.
Owers has to continue to tweak until he can find a winning formula and a system that works so I would rule nothing out.
Ominously The Daggers are the top scorers in the division but have shown a vulnerability in defence that we must try and exploit.
It doesn't look at all promising if you study the stats and season form but as we all know when we win it will be unexpected.
When it does happen it wont be a time to jump up and down and celebrate but a time to breath a short sigh of relief.
Starting line up and bench.
Dorel, Davis, Lathrope, McGinty, Gowling (c), Young, Evans, McQuoid, Reid, Higgins, Murphy
Subs: Osborn, Efete, Keating, Gray, Myrie-Williams
