Martin Kuhl in charge. No sign of Owers. Laws and Cleave in dugout. Harrop and Hedges in attendance but not in dugout.
Listening to Kuhl during the game was interesting.
We played three at the back not through footballing philosophy but due to lack of defenders/midfielders available - a sort of 3-4-1-2.
First glimpse of Rhys Murphy - he played just behind the front two and looked a tad off the pace.
We drew 0-0 (no extra time, straight to pens) and lost 2 (out of 5) - 3 (out of 4) on penalties. Fallon and Dawkins scored. Keating, Haworth and Corbridge missed.
Three senior players - Anderson, Myrie-Williams and Murphy - replaced during second half with Corbridge, Atkinson and Haworth all changing position.
