Liam Davis ? Either still injured or on strike in protest at King Kev's sacking......probably the former  . Every indication that he's also a talented player, but with no pre season behind him, even if he does ever break into the first team he'll need a month or more of games before he's starting to cope with the pace of things, and some players claim they're never properly fit in any campaign where they've missed the pre-season training. Kev certainly has a case for claiming he recruited the talent. Now we just need a mild mannered replacement for him to help nurse the injured back to fitness and gently encourage them to display the abilities we're sure they have. |
