Now GI who specialise in Greyhounds and Speedway. Nothing ever built but great plans I would have thought and perhaps a model as well.

Am sure the model village could easily be extended to incorporate a few might have beens. Not sure if the same one gets shifted around a bit, so may be a non-starter.
Now we are eating into the preparation time of the 5th match since Nicholson's dismissal. And he went after the 4th game. It just doesn't happen at professionally run clubs. Only here.
I can quite understand why some of the posters on torquayfans.com, be they TUOSC members, acting alone or otherwise, are angered and getting quoted by the HE. I can't see anything happening on Saturday by way of protest, as I am still clinging to the belief someone will be appointed by then. Surely to God they must be by then!!!!! This whole process has been an embarrassment and stain on any semblance of professionalism our club might previously have projected to the outside.
Moore to Chester?

GI are totally unfit for purpose and I just wish they would bog off. Can any club ever have been served so badly as TUFC have been over the past few months?

If a manager is not in place by Saturday I think the suggestion posted on the other website. ...namely everyone walk out when match time matches the number of days since KN was sacked. ...is not a bad idea. Not sure what else fans can do at this point to voice their frustration.I fully understand others may disagree.

3 weeks now since Nico's sacking and what a contrast between the emphatic and decisive sacking of the manager just 4 games into the season and the appointment process which is taking much longer than usual. I think we are at the stage where the short term impact of not having a manager and the continued poor form will actually make it more difficult to find the right man for the job going forward. I do not get the impression that any soundings were made before the sacking as to the financial implications of this where x was needed for a new manager and y to improve the squad as I believe someone would have been appointed by now and we are now in the situation of rapidly reducing gate receipts where the club needs ever increasing injections of funds which may not be forthcoming.
Not that I ever had confidence in the present ownership to take us forward......

The silence from the club is deafening. An utter shambles.

Register A sharp knife to slash the tyres concealed in that rolled up copy of the Guardian possibly, but to actually burn the coach to a cinder ! Should this prove to be the work of the Militants, I think it would demonstrate how rattled they are at the moment. Their attempts to pressurise G.I into a rushed appointment, indicate to me that they're very concerned that real progress is being made on a top quality new Manager. I've even heard Des Bulpin's name mentioned ! You know how devious they can be Reg. The calls for a quick appointment over the right appointment, are only designed to serve their own ends. Clarke is standing firm in the face of their intimidation, sees through the tricks, and won't be shifted from the sustainable future as mapped out in the 5 year plan, and to be overseen by the local board. #DeviousReds #WhenTheTimeIsRight

If correct that there is unlikely to be an announcement until after Saturday's game as per Radio Devon today, then with a game on Tuesday at Bromley, a manager will not have had proper game preparation time with the players for 6 matches out of a 46 match season. Where not a conscious and publicised decision by the club to go without a manager for the foreseeable (e.g: until the end of the season near the end of the season; caretaker winning matches and in the box seat), this is unheard of in professional football in this country, isn't it?
Is it now another unenviable record we have set?

The fog is finally lifting, and it becomes increasingly clear why the Reds have been so rattled over the last 24 hours in particular. As DevonLive reports, the club are: 'thrashing out the final details of a contract, which is bound to involve relocation plus extra money for new players'With the good news soon to descend on them like a ton of bricks, the call to ramp up maximum negativity in the remaining few days, was bound to be issued from Militant HQ. But let's not be conned by those attempting to equate the fact that Robbie isn't permanent Manager, with us having no Manager. The players leaderless in the dressing room discussing between themselves what tactics to use that afternoon ? Nothing more than TUST militant propaganda, and we shouldn't be caught out by it. Replacing a club legend such as King Kev is a tough task. We've all heard the evidence of how devoted his players were to him, whether that be from overheard voices of family members, or from a straight talking Josh Gowling. Any new manager appointed within the first 2 weeks of King Kev's removal, given the strength of feeling, it's surely likely that the players wouldn't have even let him into their dressing room. Thank the Lord we had the good sense to retain Assistant Legend, Robbie Herrera. Robbie has at least been able to persuade the players to take to the field, and to get them to attempt to perform despite their devastation. I know what a hammer blow it's been for us King Kev loyalists on the terraces to even start contemplating life without him at Plainmoor. How much harder such a sad situation must have hit the young men who had the privilege of learning under him each day; we're lucky that the results in the past weeks weren't even worse ! But now we can optimistically look ahead. The new man is just tidying up a few final strings on his contract while he thinks how he intends to use the increased allocation of funds to build on a squad that already has play-off capabilities. Add to that the chance that we might still be able to retain Robbie Herrera's coaching abilities to work alongside, and bring the new man up to speed on the players he's inheriting. Great to know we'll soon be back on course for Sustainable Success, but it does also explain why the Reds are so rattled.

With AJ having understandably taken a recent sabbatical from torquayfans.com, it is reassuring to hear from our Alt-Right Firebrand that "Robbie has at least been able to persuade the players to take to the field".
