I honestly believe that this site is on its last legs, based on the paucity of posts and opinions during the past couple of months. Nobody seemed to want to comment on the thread which I put up about the terrorist attack in Manchester, and all we seem to see is what music we are listening to, headed by Mr W and chestongull. Is that really so important ?
If the current members of this site would take the trouble to trawl back through the archives, they would see that, in the past, I have been a major contributor to this site, in terms of the history of TUFC and details of matches and team formations in previous decades. Even Jon, with whom I have had some very interesting exchanges on that topic, seems to have taken a backward step. I am not someone who has turned up recently, and in that sense I am very disappointed that this site has become so bereft of activity, but it would appear that Alan Merson has taken over the other two sites to such an extent that this one is becoming irrelevant.
I would like to make one more point. Tonight, the leader of the Camden Council has stated that it will really be struggling for funds in order to rehouse the occupants of the five towers for two to four weeks. For me, the simple answer is to stop sending billions of pounds abroad in the guise of "foreign aid", and to start looking after our own people in their own time of need. I welcome people's opinions on my views, failing which please carry on talking about what music you are listening to, in which case my participation on this site will cease at once.
