Good news. Would be good to also see the return of Williams. Not sure it is a good move to release our leading goal scorer.

According to Soccerbase (not the most reliable of sources but probably correct in this instance), Kieffer Moore made a total of 11 appearances for Ipswich Town, all as a substitute, since January, without scoring a goal. With Mick McCarthy's future at that club by no means certain, if Ipswich don't need him to start games more regularly, then this would seem to be an ideal time to offer a season long loan to a player who would be an ideal partner for Ruairi as a goals scoring duo. Even in the modern era of grossly inflated wages, young and ambitious players would surely be wanting to play rather than sit on benches game after game ?

I watched some of Ipswich's last game of the season agains Forest, on TV. Ipswich looked awful and Moore looked a little out of his depth at that level, not that he got any service. But he was, after all, a player who couldn't really get a regular place in the side of FGR, so it was always a bizarre signing from the point of view of Ipswich, especially considering he was about to sign for a poverty-stricken TUFC. |

Its clutching at straws really though the combination of Moore and Keating does sound promising.
Having said that Keating alongside a fully committed Williams if he were too resign could also be a decent combination that could scare a few defenses and the door is still open for him and I dont believe it can only be finances as to why he hasn't been offered a contract. It may be personal reasons on the players side or Nicholson may think hes going to see the other side of the player we all saw at the start of last season when he didn't look up for it.
Sparks, Young and Moore next I hope though I will be surprised if they all re-sign.

Similarly to Hector, I saw a little of Kieffer Moore performing for Ipswich on TV. I think it was the East Anglia derby against Norwich, and he didn't seem able to make much impression. A loan to non league, to see what's needed to be a successful player at that level, can benefit a player such as Jordan Lee, in toughening him up a bit and adding a touch more aggression to his game. Similarly with Nathan Smith, who's technique and reading of the game were also of a good standard, but the physical battles that he endured week in week out, gave him a boost mentally and physically on his return to Port Vale.
Kieffer Moore's ability to score goals at non league level obviously caught Ipswich's eye last season. It's the technique, all round skills, and ability to think and react as quickly as Championship level opponents that he currently lacks, and I don't think that a further dose of non league football is going to equip him with those attributes. However hard he works at closing the gap between what's needed for the Championship and what he's currently able to bring to the table, it might just be that it's a level above what he can perform successfully at. Not that I blame him in the least for giving the opportunity a go, and doing his best to make it work.
As others have said, Sparks and Luke Young staying with us would be very good news to hear. Brendan Moore also, though he might be more likely to try somewhere new.......and Kieffer Moore of course would be welcomed with open arms if he decides that regular football on the English Riviera combined with being hero worshipped for scoring the goals as he spearheads our forward line as we push for that 7th spot play-off place.
But whoever we get or don't get, it's worth remembering that our greatest assets are King Kev and his staff, rather than any of the players. No wonder Ruari Keating declared 'The coaching staff at the Club are exceptional'. Several notches up compared to anything young Ruari would have experienced before on the training ground. Let's hope the young Irishman has the good sense to listen, learn, and continue to progress under King Kev, in the same way that Nathan & Cap'n Angus did before him.
