Great to see the club "open a new line of communication between Torquay United and our supporters". www.torquayunited.com/news/article/2016-17/questions-for-the-club-3649743.aspxI wonder if Mr Osborne will answer some or all of mine? 1. How many stadia have you promised to build? 2. How many stadia have you built? 3. Why are you so keen on purchasing the Plainmoor freehold when the club has a secure lease until 2081? 4. What will you do when / if you do not get the freehold? 5. Do you have any interest in the football club beyond a land deal?

Excellent questions, Jon.
Have you emailed them in?
I think these questions, being few in number but perfectly pertinent, should be asked by everyone. It would be quite easy for Osborne to side-step these if he has al batch of silly Pop-Side questions about stewarding or the bar etc.

Simple straight and to the point. My own list was emailed on Friday and similar in nature to Jon's and essential if we are to gain any insight into the thinking of GI. I have a feeling though that some will ask such long winded and over elaborate questions that the response will be suitably "muddied" by Osborne and co or they will simply they cannot give an answer at this moment in time. Whatever, any response will be judged as a smoke screen by a majority who have now made up their minds as to where this lot want to lead us. Not surprising in the least and they only have themselves to blame for treating the fans as they have.

Great questions. ..I would add one more to the list. ...Why did we not sign any new players during the transfer window?

As hector suggests, I am sticking with Jon's questions. Agree a question about transfer inactivity is in order as that is what has really brought it home to all about GI.
Have considered a few specific ones as I am led to believe he is keen to answer one re Reading. I'll not be giving him my address.
I might just stick to adding number 8 and a version of 10 only. I don't know if others consider the exercise futile, but adopting Jon's questions plus one about transfer inactivity and anything "grinding the gears" seems easy enough. Think I'll need to tinker (probably 8 and 10 only) as am finding it hard drafting something to someone who played the role he did in the death of a club I loved.
Is it worth going into share capital and loans?
Dear Mr. Osbourne,
6. Bristol Rovers' former ground, Eastville, now has an IKEA situated there and they had to play in Bath for a number of years. Were you involved in any way with Eastville during this point in Bristol Rovers' history? What did you achieve during this involvement for the benefit of Bristol Rovers and their supporters?
7. The former site of Smallmead Stadium in 2008 in Reading is a car park and Speedway has not returned to the town. You made promises there that a new stadium would be built after having overseen its demolition. It wasn't. Might the same happen in Torbay?
8. The number of years of Smallmead's lease was reduced during your tenancy there prior to its demolition. Will you be seeking to reduce the number of years on Plainmoor's lease if you are unable to obtain the freehold for Plainmoor?
9. Your colleague, Bill Glass, cited a funding shortfall as a reason why development could not start at Smallmead. We have heard similar about Silver Bow in Truro in recent news. Is this a normal hazard when promising new stadia? What funding shortfall might we expect for a new stadium here or, if none, how might that be prevented?
10. A previous owner of TUFC, Thea Bristow, promised to leave the club debt free on relinquishing ownership. Will you be making a similar promise? If not, why is that if we are to be 'sustainable' under your ownership? Presumably a shortfall would be small given your aim for sustainability and capable of resolution at the point of transfer to a new owner? Will one of your companies be lending money to the sustainable TUFC that has not been repaid by the time you leave?

Very sneaky way to hold a forum. Answer the questions you want to and putting your own spin on them to put some positives out in the public domain. If there was a business plan that fans could buy into then that would have been communicated but nothing apart from behind the scenes negotiations that are unlikely to benefit TUFC.

Much more polished than his "Club Update" trotted out last week seemed to herald. As fans forums go, it has without question the potential to be sanitised more than your traditional type. I can't tell whether or not he intends to or ever did intend to hold one of the traditional type forums from the website quotes most recently made. Oh well, maybe we should be thankful for small mercies after months of nothing.

Have you emailed them in? Yes - I sent them off just before posting them on the forum. I also bumped into my old friend Tim Herbert yesterday and he confirmed that he had seen them. He did say that it was Mr Osborne's intention to answer awkward questions rather than dodge them. Or did he say to try to answer them? Time will tell.

Are you worried when York win tomorrow and leapfrog us in the table, pushing us down to 22nd?

Geoff Harrop to take the next instalment. Does he know anything about property developing worth asking about?

Two of his comments stuck in my mind above all the other waffle and bullshit, not necessarily verbatim but I really don't want to watch the whole thing again:
"There was no perceived value in making any signings". What that means is anybody's guess.
"It would not be a catastrophe if we were relegated, just another rung on the ladder". Oh yes, another rung lower so that his main purpose can be achieved.
Having listened to him and watched his body language for the first time, my worst fears were realised. He is smug, self-centred, evasive and totally untrustworthy. That interview only serves to highlight my worst fears for the club which I have supported for the last 62 years.
