please see attached link. there is a new council run lottery being launched. it will cost a pound a go and a chance to win £25k but more importantly 6op of each pound is returned to good causes. becausethe government are reducing subsidies for good causes, several councils are running lotteries to replace this money. a greater percentage goes to good causes than the National Lottery another key point is that community groups can apply and you choose that your 60p goes to that good cause alone. not only is money going to a good cause but ti is going to the one you want to support. so come on TUST and TUFC wake up to this wearesouthdevon.com/torbay-council-launch-new-lottery-help-good-causes/

any TUFC fans fancy helping Torquay Museum raise funds? On Saturday 16th September we will be holding a cycle fundraiser to raise funds for Torquay Museum. The ride is on 3 static bikes and aims to raise £5k, which will be match funded by Thomson Reuters. The target is a mileage of 1000 miles - the distance between Torquay Museum and Muzeum Trebova in the Czech Republic. We have Gilbert the Gull coming to do 90 minutes, starting at 3:00pm, when he will be riding against a Plymouth Argyle fan.....and we are after not just donations but volunteers to come and do some of the miles! please contact Torquay Museum directly on 01803 293975 for more details, to volunteer and/or donate to this worthy cause
