Our win on Saturday showed that mathematically, our fight against relegation is fairly straightforward, the trick is consistency where we outperform those around us and tonight is a test as this is a game in hand that could see us start to pull away from the drop zone and catch up with the next tranche of teams that we need to keep in contact with.

Didn't expect anything tonight so this point gained is a bonus. Great effort though we need this type of performance for the rest of the season.

Much improved display all round really and fully deserved the point and maybe something in it that we raise our game against the higher teams in the division.
Perilously close to conceding in the first half when a poor punch out was hooked off the line by Young and almost came back in under the bar, ball was probably 3/4 over the line when Brendan got the ball under control. A pass back slightly right wrong and only just went past the post.
Lathrope came closest with a long range shot hitting the bar. Young MoM and good to see him recover after an awkward tackle. First view of Keating who worked hard and for the first 15 minutes after coming on, he and Reid caused a few problems with a snap shot from the latter just going wide.

Thought a draw on reflection was a far result.
Much improved performance, especially when Read and Keating came on, seemed to both have a bit of paice.
Thought the ref did his best to get Tranmere to win...
