Just got back in to find the score is 0 -0 and we are lucky to still be in it. On the plus side, Young is playing!

Nicholson will be under pressure now for the first time in his tenor - and rightly so. The reverse of last season is playing out right before our eyes.
Disastrous first half of 2015/16 followed by an incredible and unlikely turn around. A far better first half this term followed by what is looking like a disastrous second half and run in.
Nicholson has failed miserably to build on what he had and has continued to take backward steps with the squad and on the pitch.
Fact - if we continue to fool ourselves that the squad is good enough then we are destined for the drop that includes those waiting in the wings.
Not sure many care so much any more, its a complete embarrassment to be a supporter of this shambles.

Problem is probably the resources that Nico has to work with. We have sold our main striker and look light up front. Not sure anyone else could do much better with his budget. Think we need to see if he can bring some one in first as per last year.
The cynic in me says it is no problem if we go down as we only need a small stadium then......

Good grief if it wasn't for Brendan Moore not just this game but this season we would be bottom of the table.
If you can bear it watch this miserable performance last Saturday the deficiencies are glaringly obvious. Just watch the number of times captain green boots Courtney Richards fails in a challenge or looks completely out of position. Verma looks ok - gaps and wide open down our flanks and Gerring for all of his commitment looking like the clodder he is.
Didn't like the arrogant Williams response after his goal " Look at me by the corner flag I'm just amazing come and adore me" PAH! Then he goes and grabs the ball from Read to take the pen and balls it up completely. What a thingy and where was the captain?
If Read is pen taker he should have been there telling Williams to fek off!
Moore saved the day once again with some top drawer saves. Expect him to be off on a short while then.

Apart from a brief period where it was Maidstone v Williams and Moore, it essentially looked like Maidstone v Moore from those highlights.
