I was saddened to hear Harry Smith had recently passed away. He was trainer during my Chelston FC days in the late 60´s. With Harry as trainer we won the South Devon Youth League (U18) with Chelston Colts in the 1969 - 70 season.

For players from before my time, I usually turn to Stewart: And if ever a true cult hero existed at the club, it would have been the left-back, Harry Smith, whose only desire in any game appeared to be belting the ball over the stand. But he was a hard, no-nonsense player and the fans loved him.
