Do we have a scouting network or did that also fall aside when Thea's money disappeared? He was recommended to Torquay 4 years ago. |

Back to FG he's their player to do with what they like unfortunately and could ironically, undo all of his good work and score a few against us over the holiday!

If that situation should occur he has made it clear that he will definitely NOT be celebrating on the pitch. Not a big help i know... but hey its the thought that counts ! |

Jared Hodgkiss signs - 28 day loan.
So this is where we are.
As much as I would love to see the guy do well this isn't particularly inspiring.

Aarran Racine also signs until the end of the season. Two extra bodies on board but how much will they improve the quality in the squad?
I would guess Galifuco is being given more time to recover and will be back once Hodgkiss returns in 28 days time. Racine will take over from Gerring I would imagine. Gerring, Rooney and Lee will contest the bench.
Front man still required just not enough options up front unless Nicholson decides Williams is the answer to our prayers.
I wouldn't hold your breath though.

Wow - we are really pushing the boat out - top quality signings with such good pedigrees. Should do well in Conference South if we can secure them next season as well.

Two decent signings. Racine is a starter and, if fit, so is Hodgkiss. Both have been skippers in their time. Lets face it, they are better options than we had before their arrival.
There won't be any room for young Lee in the match day squad now you'd think, so we may as well apologise to Bournemouth asap and let him go back and out on loan somewhere else.

Should have gone for Molière.
Looks a decent signing - just what we need.
Concerned that Hodgkiss has not played since getting injured on August 13. He cannot be "match fit" can he? Would look a good signing too if he was.

FGR fans pretty disappointed with Raccines' move to us and by this thread have a huge amount of respect for the player. This looks like a solid signing I hope he can show the players at the club what desire is all about. Maybe a natural captain and leader something we have lacked for a long while.
