Would be good to see a new owner with integrity but I am not expecting it!

Depends how you are spelling integrity Simon. GI would no doubt say they have integrity but it's mainly to their shareholders seemingly. Tust have lots of integrity but no money to run the club year after year.. Paul Masters could point to the integrity they have shown at Truro by getting the club up a league and out of the immediate threat of debt. The Board have in my view shown integrity but not in your view. If you are hoping for a white knight with no agenda other than put in 500k a year with no strings you could be in for a wait. That's 10 to 15 million you are asking someone to put aside for the club to live off. Now that's one hell of a supporter!

Well, you are both spelling integrity the same which is something I suppose. However, I don't think Simon or anyone else is saying the Board are not acting without integrity but with a change of ownership occuring within two months there is a certain amount of trepidation out there as to what that will bring.

It is with some relief to see that someone is out there that can rescue the club. (Hopefully) A lot tighter lid this time on whom the new owners are, put down to confidentiality clauses in the sale of course. |

The wording of the statement appears very confident so maybe it is a done deal? We shall have to wait and see exactly who is involved. I genuinely hope it is a good fit for the Club and supporters - time will tell.

link podcast today, Dave Thomas has positive vibes about new owners without specifically knowing who they are. Says they are not GI and relatively new on the scene.

Whatever the outcome, this whole elongated and dreary saga has been considerably worsened through the paucity of information seeping out of Plainmoor. Can only hope the comms improve if things move on!
