Sadly Speights is now brewed only in Christchurch and Auckland - no brewery in Dunedin anymore! Still, looking forward to drinking a bottle of Gold Medal Ale in celebration of our win today! You're right about the Kiwi's and pies - they certainly do bake good 'uns.
Stevedeckchair - is "Number 10's" accessible to anyone before the game in the family / grand stands, or just for season ticket holders? I've still not got round to going to it yet.
I ventured to buy some food at the match (first time for a couple of seasons) and the chips were OK. THey didn't have many options for the non-meat eaters though.

Funnily enough... yes, I do know one! But he says there may not be a case to answer if there was a Claus anywhere in the agreement...

there may not be a case to answer if there was a Claus anywhere in the agreement... Lucky old TB1 (again) then. Mind you if he was chuntering his habitual "Bucks has got to go" when Histon scored today (and I bet he was), he deserved to be chucked out yet again! I put him in his place a few years ago when introducing him to Tony Bedeau ..................."hey Tone, this is Alan- he thinks you're crap"

OTB, 'Number 10s' is the restaurant above boots and is only accessible to people having a sit down carvery before the game. Anyone is able to have a drink in the 'Gulls Nest' however (it's a bar next door), both before the game and at half time. You can't get access from the pop side though, so you have to sit in the grandstand (or enclosure) or the family stand. It's busy before the game and at half time, but it's good to be able to have a drink overlooking the pitch. At least you can finish your drink without missing the game. The gulls nest doesn't cost anything to get into by the way.

You mean there's still someone thinks that!! He's always had his "Aunt Sally"...................it used to be "Conference Kev this, Conference Kev that"; then when we drop into the Conference - Bucks hardly picked Hilly, so he started on Hockers. Now Hockers has gone, it's the manager. As one who couldn't trap a bag of cement himself and leaped like a tin of salmon for headers in Sunday football, you had to laugh and prior to his little drama at BootUnderhill, TB1 had always been known as the "Technical Director" such was the respect (not) we had for his views! Good laugh to have him in the car on a long journey though!
