Tough trip today and if we are to get anything from this then those defensive frailties must be cut out. Booked in for a curry at Newton Abbot tonight so the omens are not good!
COYY!

Less than two hours to kick off and only two comments on this thread, both about curry (mind you that's one more than on the kiddies site). Does this game mark the moment when we all gave hope on TUFC and found something better to do.

Gallifuoco and Sparkes out injured. Illness rather than injury, GG well enough to make up the numbers on the bench. I guess Ward and Scrivens are temporarily back at West Brom for assessment / whatever. Moore Verma Gerring McGinty Rowe-Turner Richards Young Lathrope Chaney Reid Blissett Subs Robba Nicholson Gallifuoco Chamberlain Williams

No Ward or Scrivens (will they be back)? Otherwise pretty much the "same old" which I suppose is to be expected given the current squad and severe financial constraints! Fingers crossed for a stunning away win today.

Just come in from jet washing the drive, not sure whether I'll listen to the match on the wireless to be honest. It's like seeing a close friend in ICU - can King Kev pull off another miracle.......... Still, there's always a curry with my eldest later!

Not much in it so far. No wingers either on the pitch or the bench.

Referee gave a penalty to Gateshead for handball from Blissett to the bemusement of the commentary team but we'll saved by Moore!

Gerring sees a harsh Red for a bad tackle but Johnson retaliated and picks up a red as well.

We hit the post in injury time and a bad miss off this for the game to remain scoreless. A point stops the rot and I think most would take this from our longest trip of the season.

Our longest away trip of the season, a dodgy referee by the sounds of it, illness in the camp, both the West Brom lads missing, yet still King Kev inspires the lads to keep a clean sheet and come home with a valuable point. Barring motorway congestion, they should just about be back in time for Tuesday's game.

We are doing well being four points off the drop zone, hope we can keep up this good form into the next game against Dagenham since lose it and we will be even closer to the abyss. Not a massive amount of improvement on last season thus far!
