Apparently Angus had an outstanding debut for Barnsley yesterday in the 4-0 win against Rotherham. Wish him all the best!

Very pleasing that things appear to be going well for Cap'n Angus up in Yorkshire. it was clear for us all to see how much he was progressing under Kev's leadership and coaching, and that he was taking some important lessons onboard. Also Nathan Smith establishing himself well in Port vale's first team. With Kev's unquestioned ability to improve players, it's still a cause for some anxiety that we could only persuade him to sign a 3 year contract.

Speaking of former players, I see Pokey is between the sticks for Woking nowadays?

Good luck to Angus. Funny how the margins between success and failure are so small in this game. He very quickly went from England U19 caps and on the books with Reading to playing part time football with Salisbury! Wish him all the best and as he matures should become a top defender!

Speaking of former players, I see Pokey is between the sticks for Woking nowadays? We sustained his career, really. According to wiki, of his 160 appearances only 38 weren't in a Torquay jersey. Yeah, strange that. In his loan spells (as cover for Bevs) he looked good enough to probably start for any of our BSP/League 2 rivals. Yet never managed to break through anywhere else...Another player that looks too good for non league but then cant sustain the performance level in the League?

Yellow card for Cap'n Angus !! But maybe it was forgivable last night, as he was up against £8 million striker Jordan Ayew, as well as the talented Jack Grealish. No more pre-season friendlies against Elburton Villa for Cap'n Angus, as these days he's taking on Aston Villa at Championship level. Villa taking the lead, but, as seen below, Cap'n Angus (No.5) in the thick of things as Barnsley hit back to snatch a 90th minute equaliser. Plenty of top level scouts at Oakwell last night for sure, bringing our cut of Cap'n Angus' £20 million move to a top Ppremier League club that bit closer

Cap'n Angus Scores For Wednesday !!Above - Get in !! Cap'n Angus puts Wednesday in front. Scoring for Wednesday, at Hillsborough, in front of a crowd of over 27,000 last night. It doesn't get much better than that, and I know Owls fans everywhere will be raising a glass of Christmas sherry to Cap'n Angus. On one level it was slightly disappointing for him that it was an own goal, but I'm sure Angus quickly forgot that as he heard the famous Hillsborough roar, and knew he was responsible for getting all those Wednesdayites cheering.
Let's not overlook how well Cap'n Angus is doing. Holding down a place in a Championship side, and Barnsley are doing well, deservedly still in the top half of the table. Well done Cap'n, it can only be bettered by scoring for Wednesday while wearing a blue & white striped shirt. I'll recommend you to Carlos.

Don't fret, GI won't be getting a penny. GI don't own TUFC, although Clarke Osborne does.

Looking quite likely unusually for us. I would normally be enthusiastic that good money was coming back into the club not that it will do much good in our current predicament. How important is decent scouting and development for clubs like ours though. Exeter City have led the way in that respect and have benefited massively while we've been busy just trying to survive while in the process neglecting one of the most important potential money streams. www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/hull-city-transfer-news-live-1136485

Angus Macdonald signed for Hull. Another bloody undisclosed fee. ....which means we get 15 percent of an unknown amount.I am guessing this means we will get less than we had hoped.Every silver lining has a cloud. .....

Angus, Owls, and Squirrels !
Cap'n Angus is fitting in well at Hull City, and proving himself well capable of preforming at Championship level. Yesterday was a step too far however, as he came up against the mighty Sheffield Wednesday, who by full time had left Angus down and out on the turf.
Many will have seen news that's made it to national level over the past months, that Sheffield's Labour Local Authority have embarked on a long running war on nature, with a good many of the city's beautiful trees being the victims.
As the trees quickly disappear as the Socialist chainsaws rev up, Sheffield's squirrels are particularly badly hit, and that's without taking into account the Sheffield United Assistant Manager and notorious TUFC wrecker, Alan Knill, trying to squash them when he's out on his bike.
Therefore it should really have been no surprise that one enterprising squirrel may have smuggled himself aboard Wednesday's coach heading to Hull, hoping to find a better welcome and a safer home in that city instead.
So while the seagulls (presumably with no trawler to follow) made their presence felt in numbers at Plainmoor yesterday, it was a case of the match being held up due to a squirrel on the pitch at Hull. Cap'n Angus unwisely lying on the turf with his eyes covered would have had only himself to blame had the squirrel sneaked up and pinched his nuts.
