I think we will learn a lot from this afternoon.
By all accounts a dreadful performance on Tuesday, but to what extent was that due to the taxi dash and arrival minutes before kick-off?
Strangely, those that bang on most about preparing professionally for matches are those who make least allowance for lack of preparation being a factor in Tuesday's performance.
Nico has the decision taken out of his hands as regards replacing Gerring with Gallifuoco, just as he had the choice between Lathrope and Chaney taken out of his hands through Richards' injury.
Before Ward's arrival, I was pondering whether Nico might go for a 4-1-4-1 with Lathrope in front of the back four and Chaney moving to the centre.
You could then either start Williams wide - he payed there last season but did not like it - or play Jamie Reid wide right with Williams on the bench. Or you could add some real pace by starting with Scrivens.
I would probably expect Ward to start on the bench, but I suppose he could be another attacking midfield option. I don't know much about him - is he more at home wide or centrally?
If we stick with Williams alongside Blissett up front, I suppose Lathrope would be at risk if Ward came in - although Ward would need to have some defensive skills for that to happen. Can't see Chaney being left out, resting Young would be the other possibility.

I suspect Ward will start on the bench but sounds like our good PSF games against WBA secured that deal. Hopefully, Tuesday was a bad day at the office. North Ferriby seem to be still finding their feet at this level with their only win against bottom of the table Guiseley and that from a lucky late deflection so perhaps an opportunity to bring something back from our travels this afternoon......

Team news is that there is just the one enforced change with Gallifuoco coming in for the suspended Gerring although Ward and Chamberlain make the bench.

Chaney has been subbed after 32 minutes - not sure why? Team seem to have the upper hand but playing against a strong breeze.
Reid now on for Chaney.

We are in a seriously bad place - soon we will cross that Rubicon and cease to be a former league club and just be a bog ordinary non-league hoofball team.

Will venture to Braintree next Monday and hope to see better performances in this fixture than what was served up for the last couple of seasons. Am seriously considering giving up on TUFC if no very obvious signs of improvement. First game was in 1961- last game could be 2016 - I just cannot see any sense in rucking up to watch crud!

Plymouth Parkway won 6-0 away to Bridgwater Town today in the FA Cup, and if they did manage to scrape through as far as the 4th qualifying round and were drawn against us, I am sure they would be delighted as it would give them the best possible opportunity to advance to the 1st round proper. Last one out please turn the lights out!

We are in a seriously bad place - soon we will cross that Rubicon and cease to be a former league club and just be a bog ordinary non-league hoofball team. The Rubicon was crossed when we dropped out of the Football League. To quote Caesar 'The die has been cast' and all that's left to settle is at what level of non-league football we will become comfortable. It isn't looking to be our current level. With the club being effectively for sale over the last few years it is a very difficult transition period for us that does not allow us to settle and build. Where we will end up is anyone's guess?
