Hello to everyone. I am hoping that any of the older Torquay fans can help me out here. I am on the Ely City F.C Committee and we are planning to hold a 60th Anniversary commemorative afternoon at our league game on Saturday 19th November 2016 for the game between the two sides that took place in the FA Cup.
As a club we probably wont go any further than that in future years and to be honest we struggle to get past the extra prem round.I am seeking information from anyone who knows if any players club officials or any supporters that went to the game at our old Paradise ground in 1956 are still with us . I have only recently joined the club, but am a football history and ground nut and if I could manage to get in touch with anyone associated with the day that would be excellent.
We are hoping to invite as anyone who was at the game as special guests of the club for the day and will be promoting the day within the local and national media as much possible.
