To all fans,
To our dismay, we have recently discovered that Mr Authers personal email accounts have been subject to hacking and an unknown individual(s) known only as Bay 52 has to used his personal details and has possibly had unauthorised access to TUFC and other organisations as well. Mr Authers would to state that the criminal(s) created the persona of Bay 52 without his knowledge.
Within minutes of being informed of the hacking Mr Authers contacted associates connected with TUFC, including the TUST to advise them of this cyber attack. We would like to catagorically state that Mr Authers is NOT Bay 52; however, the information provided by Bay 52 has subsequently been proven to be accurate. This information may have been obtained from previous statements or by illegally.
Mr Authers believes, beyond doubt, that the information is coming from either someone within TUFC or someone closely linked to individual(s) known to TUFC.
We can confirm that legal steps have been taken, and any further cyber attacks will be adentified very quickly by the relevent authorities.
We would like to state that TU Fans Ltd is in contact with TUFC supporters and the TUST and there are several meetings coming up in the next 14 days with organisations to discuss the possible take over and future of TUFC. We have been advised to recommend that all supporters on forums where Bay 52 appears, check their security settings to ensure that they have not fallen/do not fall victim to cyber crime themselves.
