Torquay United had last worn black and white stripes at home back in the 1933/4 season. So after an absence of 54 years Coastline designed this version for our away kit for the 88/9 season. We all have our own opinion on this particular design and i am not sure if we ever won a game wearing this shirt. I can certainly remember Torquay taking a big away following and the team wearing this shirt ![]() ![]() at Yeovil in the FA Cup 2nd round at the old Huish when we made hard work of getting a 1 1 draw that season...  .  |
