To all TUFC fans,
Due to a legal technicality, we are unable to publish the full facts as we would like to. However, we can state that the club should be safe next season.
We would like to thank all the fans for their undying support for the club; furthermore, we would like to give a special thanks to all the support staff at TUFC, particularly to Kevin Nicholson and Steve Breed, who have worked tirelessly to ensure the club won their battle this season.
At tomorrows game, we respectfully request that all fans cheer them for their achievements and dedication to the club. We would like to wish you all well and we will see how the new season unfolds.
Yours sincerely
All directors and staff Torquay United Fans Ltd

That would have been a far easier question to pose as we approached the end of the season last year, and the answer would have been 'everything' ! So little was right with TUFC that the real prospect of closing the gates for good hung over us.
No relegation worries, 2800 coming through the gates, exceptionally reasonably priced season tickets on sale, it's certainly vastly more difficult to pinpoint what isn't right just at the moment.
Perhaps we've suffered from too many well meaning, but diverse agendas competing for the fans ears this season ....that's something we can work on eradicating. There are more minor irritations such as the delay in awarding our outstanding Manager a well paid 10 year contract. With clubs at our current level, very often if there isn't an immediate problem then there will be one lurking just around the corner.
I'm sure we'll have a much clearer picture, as well as knowing whether to view the new season with optimism or pessimism once the new owners have spoken.
