Assuming your grandson is correct, I expect it'll be due to a number of the usual factors. Some of the players may get the opportunity to play at a higher level (maybe the goalkeeper, Cap'n Angus, Luke Young), others could be offered better deals financially by other teams, even if it's from other clubs within the National League. And some players with us this season won't be invited back as the Manager will think he's able to find superior replacements for them.
The important thing of course is that we retain the Manager, as that will be the overriding key to any future success. All the players with us at the moment have worked incredibly hard to put Super Kev's master plan for keeping us up into triumphant operation, and even those that leave for pastures new, will I'm sure, go with the very best wishes for their future from grateful Gulls fans.
