Thanks for that. I think you have to register to read that forum. I will report back when my registration is accepted. Frankly not surprised by anything said here and backed up by Paul. The facts are out there. I just cannot understand why Dave Phillips is ignoring them.

Thank you. A few of us have been banging on about this since this was made public and it feels like a car crash in slow motion. The current board had other options and were talking to the supporters trust but rejected them in favour of this shower. The board have got away with it so far as they are longstanding fans and saved the club last year. Basically they think this is a wonderful opportunity but the deal prevents them from disclosing any details and they seem to be held by the short and curlies due to loan arrangements and continue to whistle in the dark? Oh well got it wrong again! Yes I can see the concerns. Very worrying times and I suppose it could be said that TUFC pales into insignificance on the greater scale of things. I still think they are all the same person with deliberately different writing styles!

Still worth getting their viewpoint despite irritation value and poor communication etc.

Thanks for those. I hear Colin Authers also gets an unfavourable mention. Worrying times ahead. Am pending registration, too. Edit: Now a member. Depressing reading. More reminders to me of Reading Speedway where I used to frequent before Stadia UK "came to town and shut it down".
I just hope we are not hoodwinked into the way around GI like to do things. ie: 1. demolition of Plainmoor; 2. The finding of 'problems' re new site plans; 3. No stadia built.
I'm not sure there is much we can do to ensure the stadia is built and fit for purpose before Plainmoor gets demolished if we are owned by them, but I hope there is. There is a 6 month window for a trust (and like minded backers of a trust bid) to purchase from Torbay council as things stand, isn't there? Or is it just to be 'considered'?
Either way, GI will know the answer to that one (and will be working on it) And so, I would hope, do TUFC Fans Ltd and the club's current owners. Why no news on the exclusivity deal lapsing - or not - from TUFC!!!

Why no news on the exclusivity deal lapsing - or not - from TUFC!!! There does appear to be an established modus operandi by GI. Of course GI will need the capital from Plainmoor first before "building" elsewhere. Any resistance from TUST in stopping the "owners" from selling Plainmoor could see them being blamed for delaying the project and ultimately its failure. The secrecy, lack of scrutiny and delays in this whole saga suggests that something is very much off.

It won't happen! The thing that bothers me is how much have we borrowed from G.I.? And what it will cost to pay back, I think that Phillips might be using these usurpers as a stop gap until the real buyers show up! I'm hoping that is the case!

You can be sure TUST would be blamed at some point in that scenario and some would, no doubt, fall for it. What then happens long after that is someone else gets blamed and so on and so on, and nothing gets built. Seems to have happened far too many times.

Wow - your punctuation and spelling has certainly improved overnight! Don't you see the way you are going about this is making it look like you are the one playing games and deceiving the fans? A ballsy claim this. Perhaps you will have the balls to put your actual name against it? Somehow I doubt it.
