So the TUST after much patience have finally sent out an email asking for answers as to what is happening with the ownership situation after 3 months since this was mooted and quoted as being hopefully finalised prior to the end of the season and yet here we are in pre-season....
Basically, they are asking for 4 questions to be answered at the Agm on 11/7, namely-
1) why was the takeover not completed at the end of May as promised? 2) TUST understand that the extended period of exclusively ended on 1 July - does this mean the deal with GI is dead? 3) is there therefore an alternative investment plan in place and if so what progress is has been made? 4) what reassurance can the board give that football will be sustainable for the 2016/17 season?

While they're about it, could the TUST also demand answers as to why the Wales v Belgium thread is locked ?

If he has been leading negotiations, it would be madness to take out your leader at this stage. I am very pleased TUST has asked these questions and pointed out that the exclusivity deal finished on July 1st according to public information available, as I don't think anyone else would necessarily have recalled that. I am also keen to know how much GI believe they may have 'loaned' TUFC in the period since their interest was declared, in the event that they pull out and hope a shareholder asks said question if we hear absolutely nothing ahead of the shareholders meeting.

Yes indeed Rob. Very important. How much and repayment terms including interest rates. What happens to those loans in the event of the deal completing and in the event of the deal not completing? My other question would be what gives the board confidence that GI would actually deliver a new stadium - when their past history points to abject failure on every previous attempt albeit probably at a decent profit in each case, so "failure" depends on your point of view. Shareholders in GI may see not building new stadia as a success!

hi all, I came on here after reading a post on greyhound scene. A bit of info on myself.I have been a Gulls supporter all my life(i'm over 60 now) and a greyhound owner for over 50.I have run dogs at most of the tracks that this mob has shut down.Milton Keynes ,Bristol.and Reading.
All of these stadiums have been shut with the promise of new stadiums being built.Indeed i have seen plans for the new stadiums and even a lovely model of Reading.Land was set aside for the new stadium at Milton Keyne. As of this point in time they have NEVER been built. This firm are property developers and nothing else.i would not trust anything they say ,if they reported it was raining i would put my hand out of the window to check. I can assure every Gull supporter that these are not the sort of bedfellows we really need or would want.I am speaking with first hand experience of them. Paul(Elbolsa)

Thank you. A few of us have been banging on about this since this was made public and it feels like a car crash in slow motion. The current board had other options and were talking to the supporters trust but rejected them in favour of this shower. The board have got away with it so far as they are longstanding fans and saved the club last year.
Basically they think this is a wonderful opportunity but the deal prevents them from disclosing any details and they seem to be held by the short and curlies due to loan arrangements and continue to whistle in the dark?
