Well Gang, here we go again! HE seems to rule out Truro connection so I wonder who it may be? Over the past 10 years I have always been suspicious of such things and itchy about motives - strangely at this current time I feel the end result this time round (after so many failures in the past) that there could be a more positive outcome. No doubt (if anything does actually go ahead of course) we will find out at some stage!

........ although hope it is not some hair brained scheme to move away from Plainmoor into a sterile wasteland site!

There is a strong rumour that Geoff Harrop is one of those involved.

I do hope that I am wrong but I have a horrible feeling this is all going to end in tears.
I would feel more confident if I knew that the current board was taking good advice, but I fear they may not be.
When you look at the horrible mess that was made in failing to nail down the detail of the last takeover which allegedly ended in the board being outwitted by Dean Edwards, you would not fancy their chances with a sharp operator.
History will judge them on who they hand over to. The defence of "no alternative" will not wash as they decided not to even bother to listen to how James Mathie raised £250k for Newport County.
I would like to think that this was because they have a deal on the table that safeguards the long-term future of the football club. I hope I am being overly pessimistic in thinking that unlikely.
Beware of owners whose input is by way of a loan rather than new share capital.
