an article on him today stating he has alzheimers,only 66 years of age,this dreadful condition not only destroys the person it breaks their families hearts.Glad I saw him play,brilliant in his day

There is some speculation that footballers from the 50s and 60s are more at risk from this and other similar conditions due to the repeated heading of balls in an era when it was much heavier although not proven I believe. |
