My son saw a post on Facebook that a load of travellers have camped on our training ground - anyone know anything more about this?

There are travellers camped at Torre Valley South, knowing the general level of accuracy with anything on Facebook I wouldn't be surprised if they were talking about this.

If you mean the bit by the cricket/rugby club, that's the "carny folk" from the fair who generally seem a good bunch. Hadn't noticed anyone else around there, but would be brave pikeys that did pitch up close to them. |
