Pity that it was from two goals up!
This one passed me by, partly due to delays at work didn't get home until gone eight in the evening!

I've finally got round to reading the programme from last Tuesday's game at Woking.
Apparently our former goalkeeper Gareth Howells, together with his brother David, were "guests of the night" in the Geoff Chapple Lounge.
There's a Nicky Banger listed as a contact in the commercial department. I suspect he's also number 796 on Jon's post-1927 list of Torquay United players.
And for those - I can think of at least one individual - who are interested in midweek leagues of the 1960s and 1970s, here's another: the Wycombe Midweek Floodlit League.
The programme devotes the best part of two pages to Woking's 1967/68 campaign in that league alongside Wycombe Wanderers (as you'd expect), Maidenhead, Slough, Southall and Wokingham.
I'll spare you the details lest to say goal times are included. Just imagine what you'd get if certain people were let loose on the Torquay United programme.

Nicky Banger was commercial manager at Aldershot for quite a few years until recently. Hadn't realised he'd gone over to Woking.
