Conference South and another relegation struggle a possibility the way we are going. Very odd team selection today. We sound awful and drained of confidence- shipping goals far to easily and the changes have been up front. Ajala , one of the only bright sparks in our poor run dropped to the bench. Thompson and Yeoman selected ahead of Ajala and Offorie Acheampong. Bloody mystified Hargreavs is losing the p[lot.

Indeed Pete, very strange team selection today, was amazed to see Thompson's name in the starting 11. I'd forgotten we even had him at the club!

First the Richards at center back fiasco, which I could live with as a one off but now this. Thompson hasn't even made the bloody bench this season has he? Any how of to the rubbish dump to get rid of some rubbish. Its far more interesting than listening to this lot meekly surrender again.

Downes scores but its to little to late and our relegation form continues. The longer this goes on the more the confidence will just drain out of the young squad. Lost the game in the first few minutes Tonge and Cruise exposed defensively and our forwards in the first half ineffective. Our early season success was based on an attack that threatened every time we went forward for whatever reason we look impotent going forward. Is it any wonder we are shipping goals when we play four forwards and only two in the middle and then have to rely on two defensively poor wing backs? Jekyll and Hyde comes to mind. I just have no idea where we go from here. Anyone know where Briscoe was today - Doing the half time draw at Mansfield last I heard....;-)

Glad I decided not to go. Walked nearly 6 miles yesterday but watching the goals go in felt a lot more painful

In other news, Forest Green came from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 at home to Lincoln. Can't see us doing that any time soon despite our goalscoring feats from early on in the season

Play Western League players like Thompson & Yeoman and the result is pretty much foregone, sadly. Hence the loss.
