As crazy as it may sound I'm glad we lost and a heavy one at that. I'd rather we do it now, get this record thing out the way and drive forward into a tough second half of the season without it's burden. Also the players will realise they are not the finished article and we will come out of the stronger. I do not believe this is the begining of a slide down but a rise up the table.

I can't really agree about it being a good time to lose and I did not see trying to set new records as a burden in anyway. Surly having a record to aim for makes the players more up for games? well I think it should and by not winning or drawing the game, I fear some momentum could be lost.
One thing for sure getting beat the way we did, will be a wake up call for some of the player, who might have started to think that it was all getting to easy. I'm not trying to suggest that any players have taken their foot of the peddle so to speak, but more how their mindset may have changed.
There is nothing to learn about the players really, Bucks knows all their strengths and weaknesses and now the team need to get their minds fully back into getting another run going, even if that means they have to set out to beat any records.
