The famous old "manager of the month curse".
P6 W3 D3 L0 F10 A5 in December to win the whisky.
P6 W0 D3 L3 F1 A6 in January.
Two draws in February took us to eight without a win.
Peter Swan was "out of the game for eight years". He was, wasn't he? Naughty boy.
According to the ever-reliable Wikipedia:
Ironically Swan scored on his debut for Bury against Torquay United after just three minutes after playing over 300 matches for Sheffield Wednesday and never finding the net.
Bury won the match 4-0. I wonder what odds you could have got on that.
