A programmme collecting colleague of mine has asked if anyone can answer the following? Thanks in advance.
In 1978/79 season the match against Wimbledon on 28/2/79, the programme issued was dated 13/1/79 , Was there a supplement or insert to the programme ?
Also do you know the result of the friendly against Wimbledon from 95/96?

Mind you I have tried hard to erase the 1995/96 season from my memory. I've got just two Wimbledon friendlies (deliberately ignoring Franchise FC): 20/01/1987 H v Wimbledon L 1 - 3 02/08/2000 H v Wimbledon D 1 - 1 You're not thinking of Wimborne, are you? 24/07/1996 A v Wimborne W 6 - 0 |

Yes looks like a game for the fringe players. Wed 26th July 1995 Kick Off 7 pm. Of course Bayes was the first choice keeper but did Paul Beswick make any league or cup apps ? Not sure of the score of this game and i cant get the sheet to load up on here either. |

A full programme for the home game v Wimbledon 1st Jan 79 which was postponed. A full programme for the away game at Halifax which was postponed on the 13th Jan 79 complete with insert for the rearranged game on the 3rd April 79. A new programme was printed for the rearranged home game v Wimbledon 28th Feb 79. Hope that helps. |
